It has been a week or so since I’ve posted and I wanted to catch everyone up on what has been going on.  I really haven’t gotten the time to go out and hike recently. From changing to midnights and weekends it has been a struggle to get back on the trail with my free time.  The bright side is my shift is very physical, so technically I’m getting paid to work out.

Between the new hours and clerical side of out trip, free time is very sparse.  We have been getting our sponsorship proposals together and contacting vendors.  unfortunately since I am heading this up as a one man show it falls to me to get the other half done.  To be honest its a a bit overwhelming, planning, managing, financing, prepping sponsors, managing donation websites, etc. I am finding that at the end of the day my brain is so exhausted that its very taxing to get back on track with writing and managing the upcoming hike.
